Bliptronic 3000 was an interactive robotic installation.
Presented at the Brighton Blip Festival in 2005.
This was a collaboration with Sussex University Robotics Department.
The virtual robots were programmed to swarm to the real robots, and were programmed to go to the next brightest light.
The sounds produced were a low hum and a high pitched noise, programmed to change as the real robots were moved on the table.
This project was set up using Xcode, a projector, a web cam and a program designed specifically for the project.
People who came in off the street to the exhibition said they found it very relaxing, and children absolutely loved it.
